I received a Bachelor of Nursing degree with honors, from The University of Calgary in 2004. I spent the following 18 years working in various acute care settigs within Foothills Medical Center. Currently I work in the Emergency Department. I love the fast pace and challenging work environment but over the years I’ve discovered it’s the meaningful interactions with my patients that brings me the most joy. Training as a cosmetic injector has offered me an opportunity to diversify and supplement my nursing career in a very fufilling way. I truly enjoy collaborating with clents and I love being part of a positive experience that allows me to explore my creative and artistic side. My philosophy is to apply all the same discipline, principles, and policies accrued through acute care nursing and apply the same high standard of professionalism and ethics into my cosmetic practice.

Mya grew up in northern BC and graduations from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2016 with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Mya then worked at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops on various wards including medical, surgical, day surgery & ICU while completing her Advanced Studies in Critical Care Nursing certificate. Mya relocated to Calgary in 2021 where she now works in Corrections Health. Mya competed her certification in full face neuromodulators and mid-lower face dermal fillers in 2022 followed by a 3 month internship with Beauty Lab Academy. Mya has always had a passion for skincare, beauty and medical aesthetics and is very excited to be able to bridge that passion with her nursing career.

Kristie graduated in 2008 as a registered nurse, and shortly thereafter continued to pursue her love of nursing, completing her nurse practitioner in 2016. She has worked extensively in the field of critical care, including trauma with a special interest in education and quality improvement.
